Fried Oreos

Ahhh, the perfect fair food made in your own kitchen, made gluten-free. This taste explosion sooo so hits the spot when you’re craving fair food that used to only come from trailer vendors at the local fair… but now is available in your own home!

Dear Nabisco,

Thank you for making Oreos gluten-free. We’re kinda loving them!

Sincerely,

To make it easier

Coat one Oreo cookie at a time.

Capture 6.PNG

Allow plenty of room for cookies to fry in oil

We like to fry one cookie at a time

Drop into oil (we use canola oil) preheated to 350°F

Fry to a nice shade of golden brown

Capture 3.PNG

When cookie is golden brown on the outside

Batter is cooked all the way through on the inside

Place on paper towel to absorb oil

Make them look fancy if you’d like

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, drizzle with melted chocolate

Batter covers six Oreo cookies.

Enjoy!
